aplinkos apsaugos vadybos sistema statusas Aprobuotas sritis karo inžinerija apibrėžtis Visuma priemonių, kuriomis užtikrinamas veiksmingas aplinkos apsaugos vadybos planas ar procedūrų įgyvendinimas ir aplinkos apsaugos politikos tikslų ir uždavinių atitiktis. Pagrindinis veiksmingos aplinkos apsaugos vadybos sistemos bruožas – parengtos ir dokumentais patvirtintos procedūros ir instrukcijos, kuriomis užtikrinamas veiksmingas bendravimas ir veiklos tęstinumas. Esamos ISO 14001 ir Europos Bendrijos EMAS (EMAS dabar yra suderinta su ISO 14001) sertifikavimo sistemos patvirtina, kad sistema yra valdoma vadovaujantis tarptautiniu mastu pripažintu standartu.
